     Someone spliced all her footage. I normally don’t like lispy chicks much but hers is nice, very cute and relaxing.

     Chicks don’t appreciate how much of an effect their voice can have. Pretty sure we even have hormonal responses built in to them if they use it right.

     I really like the spoder on the left, she uses a Kansai (loosely equates to Southern) accent.

     @Gundog Yeah, but they really gotta lean into it. I got spoiled b/c my mom was always happy and sing-songy, to the point where my sister ended up getting self-conscious about the way she spoke. She’s always sounded chipper and happy, lots of ups and downs so it seems like she’s in a good mood all the time.

     Seems to do wonders in making people wanna spend time around them when a girl does that.

     @monsterislandcolonizer Look up thread I posted all the clips of her. Strong vocal flavor which may not suit everyone but it’s very relaxing and maternal in a quiet, sleepy way

     @nierenstein They don’t really respond to us the same way at all. Also they’re much better about smell. Guys can’t tell when a woman stinks if she covers it up w/ perfume, but the inverse isn’t true - that’s why the “spray some axe instead of showering” thing never worked in middle school. It only grosses her out more

     @nierenstein The only thing that really comes to mind is hearing that some like that thing where it sounds like you’re wryly smiling at her when you talk, but that’s undoubtely only one facet of a very complex tetrahedron

     @nierenstein Actually while I’m at it you ought to work on practicing your voices a bit. It’s easy for guys to learn to speak in the higher register because women prefer it, we’re quieter and “better behaved”, but it makes us unecessarily high. Look up some singing tutorials or whatever and think about the mechanics behind the sound. Guys can often tap into a deeper register with a little practice,it’s just about speaking more from the diaphragm.

     I caught myself talking high when I worked with women a lot, I was subconsciously trying to seem happy and peppy for them but instead I just sounded like a dumbass.
