     Ah, Microsoft, the master of enterprise IT and they thought, if OpenAI, a for-profit entity masquerading as a non-profit, can rake in the data from everyone while keeping its models/code locked up tighter than Fort Knox, then, I shall declare Windows the model of "openness"!

     Why not? After all, who needs source code, security, and privacy when you can beat your friends in the latest and greatest games?

     That is the only logical explanation || they are just 🤡

     if take linux and freebsd out of equation and compare apple software and windows.

     windows is still more open than apple's software. apple has pretty much locked down everything in their devices.
