@itsfoss I'm not going to say bad things about making Linux gaming better, but it is def not a priority for me. I have a Switch Lite, STEAM, and aisleriot solitaire. I think I'm good, there.
@itsfoss happily using #Bazzite to game on my desktop https://bazzite.gg/ 👌 SteamOS on my Steam Deck handheld 🤩 Stopped playing the games that require a kernel level anti-cheat and/or Windows ❌
@itsfoss There is no longer a need to go back to Windows for gaming. Every game I play runs perfectly fine under Linux. Only those with anti-cheat software, who are *not* trying to adjust, remain a problem.
Vote with your wallet. And let those game devs know that if they don't support your platform, you won't support them.
@itsfoss Any game that has kernel-level anticheat is an automatic no buy from me. Very soon I will have migrated the last of my data to Proton Drive; and then the SSD with Windows on it will be physically removed from my laptop.
If, for some odd reason, I need to use Windows in future; it will be via VirtualBox. I am at a point where I go out of my way to stay on Linux at all times.
