     It does, but both Koreas are dystopian hellscapes in their own ways. NK remains a decrepit Stalinist dinosaur, whereas in South Korea everyone works a zillion hours a week and never reproduces.

     We literally refer to NK as best Korea lol. I think it's just a counterculture thing, but yea they're not exactly living it up there. I do actually think they have a higher birth rate than SK at this point, though. May want to fact check that.
