     @roboneko @sjw No idea without the server logs. Ask him to get into the iEX console and try to fetch an object from there.

     but it reminded me about this. when I checked just now stuff in this thread (the one linked in op) still won't federate. dunno if there are other threads like it

     @roboneko @sjw No, there's a problem with one (or two) specific posts. So even if someone replies, the OP isn't getting fetched. No idea what causes this, either.

     @roboneko @sjw Sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it gives up and leaves the thread without OP. Not sure what exactly causes this, but forcefetching often helps to at least keep the replies.
