@MoeBritannica actually i've been thinking about the same, and it can work as a cope mechanism for some. You train an AI to sound like a beloved one and when the real person passes away, you'll still have the AI talking to you with their voices.

@voronesh234 @lina @MoeBritannica I'm sorry, I read your intent as being malicious, I thought you were preying on someone's feelings to con them. I didn't translate the Russian and so I jumped to a conclusion. I apologize for that.
I would say both of you should be very careful. First because you might meet some people who will prey on you emotionally, saying they have mediumship etc., saying they can talk to your relatives, when really they are just cheating you.
Second I would say, if it is possible to talk to the dead, you really, *really* shouldn't. That's why I posted that painting earlier. It's Saul and the Witch of Endor conjuring Samuel. Saul wanted to ask Samuel how to defeat the Philistines, but Samuel only condemned him and gave him a prophecy of doom.
You have a conscience, you know right from wrong, follow that and do your best. You don't need to awaken the dead for guidance. If you need to go to such lengths, you won't want to hear the answers they give you anyway!

Why ? I want to contact my dead grandma too, but i still skeptical about all of this and think it's time to just move along.
