- they don't ask you to signup
- they actually explain IN DETAIL how anything works

@lucy and they're only actually manuals in bsds and plan 9 it seems, on chinux it's just a detailed description of all the arguments a program can take. info pages are probably better if you want an actual manual

@nyanide @lucy there is 0 reason why a linux distro can't ship a good manpage, or why a bsd port can't ship a crappy one because they have no reason to replace upstream ones same as linux. this meme only applies to shit like strings(1) or at best crap like netstat(8) and stock httpds and I'm fucking tired of it
