Emeritus Prof Christopher May (chrismayla6@zirk.us)'s status on Friday, 22-Nov-2024 18:09:39 JST Emeritus Prof Christopher May In the strong (thick) norm of the Rule of Law, law & justice are intimately connected, but at the other end of the normative continuum the thin norm of the Rule of Law evacuates justice to focus merely in the letter of the law - I used to think the thicker perception had been historically on the rise, but I now think actually it had a high water mark and is in retreat.... my book is a historical snapshot, not the celebration of a celebrated norm (as I had thought a decade ago).
