     @DW2 and it is not like they have a high bar of standards to enter the medical industry. A huge majority of the work is White caller data entry level mundane labor. Some of it is even make work that provides no real valuable to the hospital or quality in patient care.
     
     I am looking forward to AI removing a bulk of these dead weight sheboon wagies. It would lower the outright nepotism our people are facing in this system.
     
     At least I hope... There is so much wrong idk if reform is even possible.

     Got a splinter taken out (no im not a pussy it was over an inch long) and I asked to see the bill (was a 20 min procedure and they had to knock me out for it) $15,000
     
     I don't believe in gov run services because I believe they inevitably degenerate. BUT the US's current health care system is fucked. I honestly don't even believe if the Gov paid for health care it would be any better...every step of the process is a fucking scam. The only "solution" is to tear it all down, but I bet the billion dollar insurance companies who run the world wouldn't let that happen....

     @Tony @pyrate Basically what we have is a cartelized health care system, where a handful of massive for-profit healthcare providers collude to rip patients off as much as possible. Politicians and insurance companies get a big cut of the loot too.

     @DW2 I hate the healthcare system with a burning passion it’s unreal. What other institution can throw 15k medical bills at your face while ALSO being one of the highest causes of death via medical malpractice. Fuck this country at least in Europe they don’t tightly regulate prescriptions, so in theory it would be easier to game the system. In the States everyone loses (except pfizer)

     @DW2 He sounds like a typical Leftist who doesn't know how anything with cause and effect works.

     It's not just "making up prices." When these insurance companies like Medicare are FORCED to cover the fat, weak, AIDS-riddled, smoking alcoholics with additional pre-existing conditions, they HAVE to raise rates to keep up with how much they're shelling out for THAT health coverage. Free healthcare won't look like what we have now -- it looks like the V.A. and Canada's "just kill yourself" program.
