     They literally didn't have a culture
     Stole from China and Korea, combined the 2 and added their Shintoism into it, and boom!
     You get Japanese culture

     @Shouchou @DrRyanSkelton @Moto_Chagatai they took liberties from Korea with the Chinese influence they took back to Japan when trade was opened to them
     Then essentially polymerized the 2 with their established Shinto Buddhism, and then had their own independent identity
