     @Rhodesian_YuKari @ForbiddenDreamer they destroyed all the manufacturing so now every kid is drilled that if they don't go to college, they'll end up in a fate worse than death like being a clerk

     Having not gone to college and accrued debt, I was unable to get a fucking credit card, in fact, I was told by my credit union if I had 'bad credit' that would be better than no credit, because at least bad credit can be fixed.

     I'm not gonna buy a house here or land and pay absorbent taxes to the government just to live on it meanwhile bill gates buys miles of land and does nothing with it and pays no taxes on them
     And I highly doubt those jobs last long seeing some fedi users get cushy jobs only to get laid off 3 months later

     @yedkf @ForbiddenDreamer I refuse to believe there are nonsense jobs out there that hand you free money, and even if they did exist, I have a feeling they would greatly contribute to the state of my already deteriorating mind. At that rate, death would be better, but I'm too stubborn for that and I want better things.

A guy that doesn't exist I'm writing a fictitious story about works at a major finance company has an entire department of 20 people that come up with "ideas" its basically where they send underperforming employees that they don't want to fire for whatever reason. The fictional guy said in his 4 years working there, not 1 idea they have came up with has been used. His department is in charge of saying no to all ideas they come up with. The lowest paid person in that department makes $70k/year with very good benes. The fictional guy told me that it pisses him off because his department is in the same business unit, and his department does nothing but real operations work all day.
