     This is both old and also an Isekai, even if it's not really connected to the current boom culturally. Probably one of the older fantasy anime I've watched that isn't mahou shoujo related.

     Honestly I should watch more late 90s fantasy anime. Most of my old anime knowledge is 70s super robot anime and 80s-early 90s harder sci-fi stuff.
