     @icedquinn i think it's mostly familiarity and good positioning. mastodon got much of its early traction by being 'twitter without nazis'

     am i supposed to believe none of the alternatives in production exist but it JUST SO HAPPENS the only one owned by a VC firm is the bee's knees and only answer
