     He's responsible for creating the ideological system that caused the horrible famines of communism. Peasants have always risen up and thrown off the shackles of their masters, but they merely installed new lords in the past. With communism, they installed a bureaucracy so ideologically misguided that it starved tens of millions to death just from the direct effects, not even counting the wars and strife that resulted.
