  I’m actually looking for actual discourse with people I don’t agree with but I don’t think it’s possible in an open social network. I first tried conveying nuanced opinions here. It failed. The dog pile of misconstruing my words just to own me is one thing, but to use it for such simplistic spew makes it difficult to even want to look at it. So sometimes I respond in kind. Much can be reveaed about people by seeing how they respond to their reflection.
  
  And btw. You’re one of the few I’m happy to be serious with and would actually welcome some “reasoned” discussion with you some time. I have a feeling that we agree about much more than we don’t. I don’t know how to explore that in a dogpile.

  I'm not an expert in this field. My benis is more of an innie than an outie.
  Although, I feel like both approaches can leave a lasting impression.
  
  Final thought: There is a lot of real life implications to even our honest opinions, as of late. Lots of these people live in countries were speech isn't protected. Don't discount a person's means of protection as a lack of hubris.
  There is a lot to lose. Those anonymous avatars are real people with jobs and family that rely on them. They don't get paid to put hot takes out on the internet but that doesn't make their opinions less valid.
  Guilting a decision of anonymity is not the own your think it is.
  I disagree with you frequently as we land on different sides of the political spectrum...but I would fight, hope and pray for your protection and ability to speak as much as I would someone I completely agree with.
