@panda @dansup @loops @supapp They aren't required to use the app, and admins can disable the Beagle Discover API from their instance.

Only the Recovery feature interacts directly with the central service, the rest are proxied through the admins Pixelfed server, and we will give admins the ability to disable (or use custom providers in the future)!
