Almost two months already! Here's a long-promised, packed faircamp news bulletin:
Faircamp is now in early Beta! I wrote a comprehensive standalone manual [1] for faircamp. Homepage and artist pages have been redesigned, the entire interface polished. All interface text has been made translatable (de/en done). Audio player waveform rendering is now clientside and perfectly responsive. An http server for local previewing has been integrated. GIF, HEIF and webp images are now supported. AIFF files are now supported as input too. Faircamp can now be built without libvips too (easier builds). Responsive image implementation has been greatly polished. Fullscreen cover view was added. Unlock code page now offers customizable text. Soft paycurtain page is functionally fully implemented now. The cache implementation now instantly persists computed artifacts so builds can be stopped and resumed at any point. Cache retrieval now performs full integrity checks and orphaned file cleanup at the start, also handling cache layout incompatibilites between different faircamp versions ... and lots and lots and lots of other improvements.
Attached as a teaser: WIP images from the generative release cover design process! Adding this soon. (⌒‿⌒)
