   Which brings up a thought: what does the GOPe hate somewhere around us (its base)? Doing anything "controversial."

   Team Trump is going to hammer the Senate GOPe if they repeat 2017-2020. Allowing the Senate to go into recess will allow them to avoid voting for figures they hate while avoiding the ire of their pesky constituents.

   AND ANOTHER: Glenn "Instapundit" Reynolds who's looked deeply into coups in the US context is worried about Team Trump mooting/or announcing? before he's "in power" a board to bounce three and four star flag officers.

   Reynolds' study however says it's very hard for the US military to gin up a coup. So maybe this is bait to expose traitors?

   BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE: Would Gaetz like to prosecute a real, honest to God treason trial? Milley is surely not the only one....

     It would be absolutely hilarious for the military higher-ups to try a coup when all the regular troops love Trump.

     @ArdainianRight The trigger pullers, at least, as far as I know love Trump. He uncharacteristically had their backs in multiple pozzed situations, and with a deft enough hand to avoid undue command influence.
