     @nixCraft I feel like they're just going to morph the free version into KVM with a new gui. So I'll just use KVM in that case

     @nixCraft I've been happily running VM's on KVM for almost 2 decades and XEN before that. For those who want a user interface that's simpler than the CLI, cockpit does the job just fine.

     Why would anyone use VMWare workstation, rapidly becoming a dead end, rather than a free, or supported, Linux distro where they can at least develop transferable skills?

     I'll concede that, for individuals working for companies sticking with VMware it's different though...

     @nixCraft @nixCraft I don't understand Broadcom/Omnissa's decisions. Many VMware partners like us have been discontinued and need to go through a new invitation process to rejoin the partnership program.
