     Yes! The focus of grand strategy is knowing how various territories and their properties work and interact with one another, then using that knowledge to either effectively invade or diplomatically acquire those territories. Paradox has the near monopoly on grand strategy, unfortunately, but there are other devs who make GS titles.
     
     Note that since this infograph was created, EUIV has gotten worse due to stupid DLC and updates, and some minor info is outdated.

     I've never actually played any of these. Apparently I have CIV III complete, V and Galactic I ultimate and who the fuck knows what else
     
     Vic3 is listed as... Grand Strategy??? Is that even a genre? And Civ is apparently... 4X? Is that right? And I'd have these?

     No one should play, let alone buy, new Paradox games past EU IV, but everything prior to EU IV is well made, challenging. and less libtarded than Nu-Paradox or not libtarded at all.
