Fuck off, I'm not going to watch this.
Remember when Kurzgesagt tried to deboonk Calories In/Calories Out?
-
@crunklord420 they're billionaire funded right?
-
@nyanide they take NGO money included the Gates Foundation and the usual suspects. They coped about it being okay because it "aligned with their values".
They're just a mouth piece for globohomo at this point. You can only make so many videos about stellar objects before you run out, I guess.

@Marvelous7578 it was super hand wavy. They basically said "actually exercising doesn't help you lose weight because you'll just get tired and your overall activity level for the day will be the same". Their evidence being an anecdote about some random nomadic African tribe no one has ever heard of before. It was poorly explained and it just came off as a cope piece for fat people simply to not even bother trying.
It was so bad they made a "correction" video, which I never ended up watching.

How can you debunk Calories In/Calories Out?
Are some fatties perpetual motion machines?
Only things I see getting changed withing that field of science, is that you should count the calories it takes for your body to process the calories as "Calories Out". Meaning that an uncooked carrot will be harder for your body to digest than a cooked one, therefore you should count that as "Calories Out". Not sure how true it is, as I'm not a researcher within that field, but it sounds logical to me.
No idea what Kurzgesagt's video is about though, as I haven't seen any of their new videos.
