     Some good advice I got: do not make any life-changing choices until you are eighteen at a minimum.

     @Flick Seems like it all goes back to mandatory injections of ground-up diseased organs back in the Eugenics era. Only by tricks of language and false generalizations is history re-written to cover-up the facts. Once you surrender the right to doubt the Gods of State to make aggregate medical decisions for the poor, the stupid and the self-made slaves, any and all atrocities are possible eventually. Bad math makes slaves of us all.

     @amerika @Flick I agree with the sentiment you shouldn't undergo serious body modifications until you are more mentally mature (and probably never for most people). I just mean that every decision you make ultimately changes your trajectory even if it's just a nudge.

     @amerika @Flick yes but starting smoking at 10 or 11 may shorten your life by a few years even if crack addiction generally leads to worse outcomes (this could largely be due to the legal status).
