   I found a bunch of ports for sale on aliexpress, and they handle the problem of "db15" in an interesting way:

   They call the DE-15 connector (the vga one, often incorrectly called db-15, especially by me) a "db3row-male-15 " connector.

     @foone This reminded me that I meant to look these up and ask if you were familiar with them. I walk by one at work all the time and it has weird proprietary ports on it. http://rose.com/products/serveview-pro

     @Novyx I think I've seen them at ewaste? It's always annoying to find a big-ass KVM and then realize it needs funky cables and they're not with the machine
