   @thendrix People were talking about this at work, from what I hear the pay "isn't even HALF of what they paid back in the day"

   Think about 2x what a teacher in a red state makes, from the sound of it. No fun GWOT blackwater deals paying $240k/year for triple overtime danger pay or whatever. More like 48,000 dollars for certain death in a one-way mission to rape babushkas

   but that's just watercooler gossip

     @MeBigbrain @thendrix Evidently those days are long gone, even the pilot guys w/ clearances flying for glownig express whine the pay "ain't enough to go over there anymore"

     But who knows, they're fat & old now, a lot harder to endure the heat
