   Oh, apparently trannyfox does support jpeg xl, but you have to enable it:miku_disdain: in about:config . However, if I try to post one here, the upload seems to get cancelled. Thank you for reading my blog post.

     Are you sure you have to enable it? It's enabled automatically on the forks. But yeah, Fedi devs hate JPEG XL even though it is objectively superior to WebP.

     That's dumb. WebP is by no means free and is barely opensource. Why would they allow that disgusting software but not the one that is truly free and open source, AND made many of the same devs as the original JPEG?
