     My Phillips drill bits are so fucking melted from all the apprentices using them. My Torx bits though are holding up fantastic. Love torx

They sell make and sell jis drivers in Japan as "Philips" and the company claims "it's actually Philips" because the JIS people stopped certifying them or some shit but it's an open secret they're JIS. Case in point vessel drivers.

     That's true, square-head screws are usually pretty good. I just have a bunch of Torx screws and I like them way more than phillips.

     @Tactical @bronze @MisterLister Phillips are designed to be shitty on purpose, so that they'll cam out in automated settings, rather than bind up. Robertson were made by a Canadian, but didn't get as popular in the US since he refused to license the design, wanting to sell the screws directly instead.
