AI art is actually a lot closer to 3D art than many people would expect. In both cases you're using a lot of technology others have made. The programs themselves and models or content packs.
You still have to pose and determine what you want the image to be like.
The only major difference is that most people won't be making models from scratch with AI art, at least yet.
AI just automates things to a degree. I would like to see more AI actually using 3D models as well. It would have a lot more consistency when it comes to limbs at least.
