     @Awoo Alex Linder stooped to a new low today. He created a bogus DRC account and made a long and elaborate fedpost full of violent threats. Fortunately we caught the post fairly quickly and deleted the responsible account, but I have screenshots of the post. I’m debating whether I should post it publicly so the whole Fedi can see what a piece of shit Linder truly is.

     @matty @Awoo @zoomgoboom He was feuding with DRC this afternoon and started to go off the deep end. Then barely an hour later we get this bogus account showing up on our instance making a single, verbose fedpost in his telltale pompous writing style accompanied by outrageous criminal threats.
     
     Years ago, a member of Linder’s VNN forum was arrested for leaving a backpack with a homemade bomb in it, at some street demonstration somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, I forget where exactly. And here today after Linder finishes throwing an online tantrum over being spammed with anime, I find a fedpost on my instance containing, surprise surprise, threats of violence to be carried out with a bomb.

You might not like this take, but loli is not the sum total of anime and I don't see being anti-loli being anti-anime per se depending on why that person is anti-loli and how he is anti-loli. Yes, anti-loli is still anti-free,-cool,-and-based-internet, but anti-cool-clubs has nothing to do with anime, manga, and otakuism in-and-of themselves.

     As someone in this position, I genuinely don't know how you work up the motivation to do...well, fucking anything, to be honest. I just end up completely fucking blanked for an hour and demotivated for like another 5. The thought of "going to the trouble to go to the store to buy soap" is beyond my capacity some days - someone who is suicidal from a painful psychological condition going to the trouble to do *this* is unfathomable to me.

     I dont like anime because I dont like formulaic media in general, this goes for most videogames, movies, tv shows, books, etc.
