@cris1010 @Spooke @blueknightfrank it's not about how many furries the game has, but the existence of playable furries itself. ZZZ seems to only have fanservice as it's attraction point but
the market is already saturated with games that offer fanservice so if someone is only in it for the eye candy then they are more likely to play another game that doesn't have furries spooking their pulls. that's what I think the reason for the decline is anyway

@blueknightfrank @Spooke @cris1010 Hollow zero is pretty boring IMO. If it wasn't for the weekly i doubt i'd even bother with it.
Removing the TV's entirely from the last chapter without making the combat stages more interesting was a mistake to be honest.
Plus the racing section was literally a reskin, mechanics and all, of the racing section from the Honkai Evangelion collab. :doge_laugh:
My guess is that hoyo isn't really sure what they want with the game.

I think the problem is that the core growth mechanics are just yet another copypaste of genshin/starrail/wuwa/etc and share the exact same problem that it takes fucking forever to get a character to a point they become useful.
Which in turn makes me not want to pull for a new character and instead just focus on the ones i already have.
Same shit with endgame content. You need two teams to do ZZZ's version of abyss and just growing one team already takes forever so i haven't even bothered doing that.

@Tamamo @Spooke @cris1010 hollow zero is the other endgame but unlike star rail they didn't keep adding to it. And they remove tv which just makes it barebones combat only

Speeding up the animations was already a major improvement.

@Meemoo @Spooke @blueknightfrank I mean, there's a clear limit to how many similar live-service/gacha games you can release until your fans literally can't throw money at them LMAO also remember that Mihoyo fans are fags who hate female fanservice and there's also a lot of gacha players that would never play a Mihoyo game.
I think this game was doomed from the start regardless of gameplay.

Early footage gave the impression it would be a game similar to Rusty Hearts which would have been a good addition to their current lineup of games IMO.
The TV stuff sorta came out of nowhere when the closed beta's started.

@Tamamo @Spooke @blueknightfrank @cris1010 gachas can still print money with bad gameplay tho. So I don't quite think that was what crippled the game to this extent. I mean just look at AL (made 11m last month) and FGO.

@Meemoo @cris1010 @Spooke @blueknightfrank I disagree. The combat is really good once you get into the flow. That being said its very reaction based and that type of gameplay translates really bad to a touch screen.
Common turn offs i heard is:
-Game was marketed as an action game and then the game forces you to do very long TV sections.
-The game takes ages to get really started.
-Way too many mechanics are locked behind behind higher internots levels.

Comparing ZZZ launch to current shows their other games haven't recovered all that much compared to what they used to
