   Was asked to be a panelist on an in-person event, I asked if they have any #PHPledge in place to protect the health & safety of attendees. Got a generic "the ventilation is excellent and we are following official guidelines" reply, which basically means: no masks, we all have to deal with getting COVID 3-4x per year.

   Saying no can be hard but #COVID left me unable to think/work for over a month & I think we all deserve more inclusive events.

     @ialja 👍👍👍 I have been on the receiving end of the "we have ventilation and adhere to the official guidelines, if you want to you may wear a mask" speech as well, and this made me return the ticket I already had bought. It was a really sad day for me, but yes, we all deserve more inclusive events, and for that we have to stand up.
