     @ninja8tyu I think everyone involved in projects should look at how meaningful their progress is rather than how long they've invested in them.
     I don't have an example beyond gaming, but I talked about my Factorio save yesterday. It's 250 hours and I made a 1k spm (science per minute) base. I did finish it, but that's just too much time invested for the end product.
     In my case, I should have had fun and finished the challenge, and yes, I had both, but if anyone payed me by the hour, I'd be swindling some motherfuckers. :kekw:

     @Immahnoob yeah, lots of work doesn't mean it's meaningful work, and now that you mention it, i literally quit a place that was filled with those people
     
     still, i feel like i could do better... and watching videos calling visual novels "not games" and the videos not giving much advice on them... i can't help but wonder if i chose one of the hardest mediums to make for the lowest of profits
