     @djsumdog I used to have one but the lightbulb wasn't strong enough to melt the wax and I don't think it was replaceable.

     You would need a liquid that would be able to do the same thing, but at the temperature of a high powered LED .... and not be toxic to clean up if it breaks.

     @djsumdog @mangeurdenuage I thought it would be better because vegetable oil is a better conductor of heat.

     I have a feeling it wouldn't look quite as blobby.
