     @beardalaxy Virtually every altchan bans or heavily discourages Pepe, Wojak, Virgin vs Chad, and TND posting because the admins realize how soulless 4chan has become.

     It's a shame the chad meme got corrupted so quickly. The entire point of it was to be a joke about "thing i like good, thing i dont like bad" memes being stupid by exaggerating them to the point of extreme parody, but then it immediately devolved into yet another generic "thing i like good, thing i dont like bad" meme.

     @Alex @beardalaxy I'd never liked them because they were always contrarian takes. Like I get it, niche communities have contrarian views but I think the whole virgin v chad memes (and their derivatives) took it to the absolute extreme. I think it's okay to like some mainstream things.

     But admittedly, I think the "dodge then vs dodge now", "average x fan vs average y enjoyer", and "chad yes" memes are much worse because at least virgin vs chad gives reasons why their view is superior.
