   Just mute them if they bother you too much. Blocking is antisocial, and it also lets them know they got blocked.

     So... it's not often that I attract the flamers, so I have a question for the people who do:

     How long until they get bored and go away if I don't respond? I REALLY don't want to ruin my perfect record of never blocking anyone.
