     @wan every book I have that's 80-100 years old (either the book itself is, or it's a reprint of such from such time), whether a translation or not, is like this.

     We used to be a people that cared about the truth, but that was because we cared, first and foremost, about the One who is the Truth. Rejecting Him, out goes the truth.

     the modern equivalent of this would be any translated chapters of sayonara zetsubou sensei having 2-3 pages of translation notes at the end
