     @arstechnica The real danger of AI is not AI enslaving humans but the same danger any man-made technology entails: automating our own flawed natured and thus artificially amplifying the impact and risks associated with those flaws.

     @arstechnica the film presented a plausible if improbable pathway for AI where the machine created by humans and given “intelligence” decides humans are the problem.

     The real issue is not the film it is the media citing it in explorations of the future of AI.

     We may never see a T1000 but AI is going to change our future. For good or bad is in our hands.

     @arstechnica best part is, if AI does take over it'll just manipulate humans into killing each other rather than robots.

     Look at how north Korea, Russia, US magats, etc bend the knee to a strong man because their information flow is controlled.

     And folks are already working on AI mediators and therapists to manipulate people for good. Research the billionaires will yoink to turn the right wing and horseshit lefties into zombie hordes.
