   Just reminded about the last Indiana Jones movie, which I still haven't seen, movie had such little cultural impact I forgot it existed, nobody brings it up, worst outcome for a movie like that really.

     It wasn't even The Last Jedi bad, just totally bland and forgettable. TLJ was on the cutting edge of wokeshit and had a tremendous cultural impact, Dial of Destiny is just... there.

     @ArdainianRight I was interested in seeing Mads Mikkelsen play a Nazi but after seeing some of the female protagonists dialogue in the trailers it totally turned me off. I know it's petty but I also don't want to see digital phantom Indiana Jones

     But the real curse of Hollywood shitlibbery is that it forces all stories to come back to Current Year messaging as opposed to letting you feel a sense of "otherness" by portraying a world outside of our own, wrapped up in worldviews outside of our modern ones.

     @ArdainianRight Crystal Skull was a mess to but it at least felt like an Indiana Jones movie in a few parts, but as cynical as that movie felt 16 years ago I can only imagine the kind of vibes Dial of Destiny gives off

     @ArdainianRight That's a good way to put it, old movies clung to morals too but modern morality is just angrily lecturing people now, every movie and show has a scene where some character representing a persecuted minority needs to remind us that the "isms" are bad, libtards spray their pants over this stuff

     @ArdainianRight Very rarely a movie leaves so little an impression on someone, I felt that way about a couple Marvel movies, I swear I've seen them but when I try to recall it's just a void, kind of eerie really
