   What I hate the most about ActivityPub is that we have so many documents, standardization bodies and pseudo-standardization pseudo-bodies but at the end of the day everything works differently and the (always partial) interoperability is based on special handling and hacks, not on a shared data model and one protocol without 'dialects'

     @dimkr If something requires special handling, send them a bug report. Otherwise it will be only getting worse

     @dimkr Groups are complicated, so it was necessary to explore different ways of implementing them.      @silverpill Do you truly believe that the FEP process has the potential to make all Group implementations behave exactly the same, with the audience property and all? I can file bugs, but it's not really a bug if things are sort of interoperable although not aligned with an 'unofficial' specification
