     @nixCraft - I don't know why they made me take all that math. I was a programmer for something like 30 years (kernel, networking, system level, UI) and I rarely used anything more complicated than algebra. Some software is math intensive, but most is not. C.S. should be taught as a sub-discipline of philosophy.

     @nixCraft Math in CS is needed in specific field (AI or game engine for example, where there a lot of algo relying on statistic or physics)
