It's fortunate that the mission succeeded, and shows the robustness of the core design, but solid rockets have always been iffy, and I'm very bothered that this will eventually be used for crewed spacecraft. Solid rockets+people always seems to me to be a safety mistake (Challenger, anyone?) I'll take a liquid system with an "off" switch over a solid motor any day.
