But I just opened my tube of my other cream and put it on and god, oh god, my skin finally shut the fuck up, about time, jesus-

Don't know your circumstances, but would like to share my story...About 8 years ago my son (age 11 or so) had skin problems. The outer skin in elbow, armpit and knee joints were "falling off".
Skin doctor prescribed a fairly expensive cortisone cream and said "He will need that for the rest of his life".
I used it once or twice, then changed his bathing habits. Less baths/showers, less soap and swims in saltwater pool... 6-9 months later the problem was gone. No problems since.

Without the injection, things can go sour very fast. The goddamn doc forgot to renew it and the insurance took a month, I had to do without a month+ of it. It went well because of my working out, but it could go sour very fast anytime
