   @HWABAG @Goalkeeper @SuperSnekFriend it’s probably mostly just basic elite theory stuff. basically the same reason Catholics and jews have hugely disproportionate representation in American institutions compared to Protestants and the irreligious, they use their religious institutions for networking and supporting each others positions in the secular world in ways that the the buddhist/shinto/vaguely atheistic people don’t. a motivated minority will always exert its will over a passive majority.

     After watching TsumaSho Episode 3, my dislike of the concept and beliefs of reincarnation has become outright loathing.
     
     Don't misunderstand me. The show is good, but the worldview behind the show to make the premise possible is utterly rotten.
     
     Only continuous identity, spiritual immorality, and resurrection can solve humanity's problems. So please repent and accept the Gospel:
