The opening chapter is there to show you that you don't want to lose a fight in this world because it's not as simple as waking up at the inn later

The light novel keeps the goblin rape terse and focuses on the trauma the girls have after they are rescued from the goblins. The manga is a bit more explicit, but nothing approaching hentai levels. The first episode of the anime is, imho, one of the best first episodes of any series I've seen and is practically perfect.

They slowly get him to ease off and partake in the more happy parts of being an adventurer, and he helps them accept that it's not always sunshine and rainbows and when shit gets real you need to stop fucking around

@Azur_Fenix @Kyonko802 @LoliHat @rainignterror1080p that's what i strive for with elves, since that's when they're at their best: pure women giving their bodies in love. i will say as an expert that elves get a ton of interracial/rape material, probably for that very reason. it's a pretty vivid contrast especially for her.
