The German newspaper Welt writes that the Russian defense sector has become even stronger than it was before the sanctions. The West's calculations that Moscow would run out of ammunition and production capacity in a few months after the start of the SMO did not come true. It turned out that the Russian military industry successfully both produces new weapons and modernizes the old ones.

According to the publication, such results were achieved due to the flexible and harmonious inclusion of private (as well as foreign, from states friendly to Russia) business in solving the problems of the Russian defense industry. In the West, the realization is gradually coming that they again, as in the 40s of the last century, became hostages of their own propaganda myths about Russia.
