   Something I noticed with gacha games is that after the 3 year mark, new characters start being less interesting and players, even new ones, often don’t have a new character as their favorite unless they are a long anticipated character or they are busted.

     @Echigo sounds like a problem with the gachas you play.
     Plenty of the gachas I play still release top tier characters.
     FGO is one example
     Priconne is another
