I was trying to do a log of CPU instructions run by an emulated CPU but the speed of writing the log was the main bottleneck. So I bought another m.2 drive and set up the VM to use it directly, then logged CPU instructions to it.
Then my system froze, and it turned out I accidentally targeted my C:, not the new drive, so I overwrote my windows install with logs
