There was this video I watched today about art under Nazi germany and at the end, the person narrating said something among the lines of “if there are any fascists who managed to make it this far into the video, just know under your ideal fascist society, you’re not safe either”. This is in reference to the fact a national socialist painter was considered a maker of degenerate art by the third Reich (his art wasn’t that bad tbh although it depended on the piece). All I could think is, well, I’m not particularly safe under this regime, or any regime really. I’ve thought about what it’d be like before being executed by liberals, conservatives, communists, my own, unaligned and situations worse than executions. If I had a better sense of humor I probably would have laughed hearing the fag drone on. There’s millions of things I could say about this subject but I’ll go with this: danger is a fact of life and ideology nor government can do nothing about that.
