   As much as I really hoped this would continue to be a good site, I think it's time to just admit that kowtowing to every demand has killed it. Especially when out and out pedos are still just fine and dandy. No thanks, I think I've seen enough.

     I think your anger towards the rules here on marking NSFW media as sensitive content is misguided. My priority is to keep this site alive, a community that so many artists depend on without compromising on freedom of expression. I must adapt to the growing regulations when it comes to age restricting us from exposing ourselves to children.

     Like specifically, just the other day I saw a 3D render that was so realistic it actually made me physically ill. That's fine, whatever, you can hide it I guess. The next day? Guy saying he's pro contact. I've seen artists complain about this too but I have to say I'm really baffled why this is just... Okay? Yet a single (adult) titty is now hidden by default?

     There comes a point when you have to start seeing the the obvious priorities here and I'm just not comfy.

     @cwaig quite frankly, I consider clicking through a blurred sensitive flag to be inconsequential compared to other platforms that require you to log in to even see adult content such as pixiv or tumblr.

     Artists here are able to post to baraag and publicly share it to others without being account-walled. I realize the update is confusing but fundamentally there is no new rule change. The step to mark sensitive has changed but there are no new steps added.

     @satori considering that imageboards are all alive and well with the same feature of not logging in, I'm not really buying this as an excuse. It's been an ongoing battle since misskey started making absurd demands that only barely got walked back after massive backlash.

     And to be perfectly clear, it's your site, and you can do what you want. I'm just not really feeling it when every single post is now a pop up. Obviously, I'm not alone on that.

     @cwaig show me an NSFW image board that does not have an interstitial warning page that forces the visitor to confirm they are an adult.

     You are free to suspect I am kowtowing to misskey.io but this has absolutely nothing to do with them. Every passing year there are new laws in the US trying to implement some sort of age verification mechanism because parents don’t want to parent. I see the writing on the wall.

See, the difference is if the cops see this they wouldn't (rightfully tbh) beat me to death instantly over the latter. Yeah nah, I can't stand by with this anymore. Thanks for the effort, it's appreciated, but I am definitely not posting my art here now.

     @cwaig I do not understand what you mean by buried by default. Badi is not shadowbanned and the only reason why the post is like this is because they put text in the CW input field. If you leave it blank it functions literally the same as before the update to baraag.

     In any case, I wish you all the best in finding a new community that aligns with your views on what you consider censorship and art.

     @satori as for the pedo. I don't keep a Rolodex of pedophiles on a site I hardly use. Try asking any of the big artists I've seen complain about this week like... Here I'll get the post specifically.
