Here is a idea. Instead of banning TicToc because it gathers sensitive user data, how about we just ban gathering sensitive user data?

  @samtuke @jameschip I'm not sure that strategy played out well for the US in the case of TikTok...
  And I'd say true innovators thrive within constraints... But then I'm very cynical about what gets called "innovation"...
