   ukraine's sum total tactical victories the entire war boil down to displacing the russian line briefly with no lasting consequence and invading kursk, which will probably accelerate their inevitable loss by months because they needed those forces on the line
   
   the criticism of russia's performance in the war essentially boils down to "they didn't achieve a completely flawless victory quickly enough for my taste"
   
   and what is that compared with? the US military? our generals are directing the fuckin war on ukraine's side
